This Week's Theme: The $200/Month Affiliate Stack
Another week, another stack to build.
If you are new here, I am Julie James and I am building an affiliate marketing business completely in public. Every week I share exactly what I am doing, what I am finding, and what is actually working so you do not have to figure it out alone.
This week we are talking about building an income stack. Not one program. Not one big bet. A small collection of programs with strong commissions that work together, so that when one referral converts, it does not feel like luck. It feels like a system.
You do not need a massive following to make this work. You need the right programs and a reason to talk about them. Let's get into it.
This Week's Theme: The $200/Month Affiliate Stack
1. Airwallex | Commission: $200 flat per signup | Cookie: 365 days | Network: Impact | Get your Airwallex affiliate link here
Two hundred dollars. Per signup. Flat.
Airwallex is a global business payments platform built for companies that move money across borders. Their affiliate program pays $200 for every qualified business that signs up through your link, and the 365-day cookie means if someone clicks today and signs up almost a year from now, you still get paid.
This is the kind of program that changes the math on a single piece of content. One YouTube video, one newsletter mention, one LinkedIn post that reaches the right person can generate $200 from a single click. There is no recurring calculation to do. The number is just $200.
Best for: Anyone with an audience that includes small business owners, freelancers, entrepreneurs, or anyone running a company that handles international payments.
2. Kinsta | Commission: $50-$500 upfront + 10% recurring monthly | Cookie: 60 days | Network: Direct | Get your Kinsta affiliate link here
This one pays twice. Once when they sign up, and every single month they stay.
Kinsta is a premium managed WordPress hosting platform. Their plans start at $35 per month and scale significantly for agencies and enterprise clients. The upfront bounty runs from $50 to $500 depending on which plan your referral chooses. Then the 10% monthly recurring commission kicks in and compounds quietly in the background for as long as that customer stays.
Refer someone on a $100 per month plan and you are collecting $10 every single month without touching anything. That is $120 per year from one referral. Stack a handful of those and the recurring line on your commission report starts to look very different.
Best for: Anyone talking about websites, WordPress, online business setup, or digital agencies.
3. Preply | Commission: 70% on new trials | Cookie: 30 days | Network: Impact | Get your Preply affiliate link here
Seventy percent. That is not a typo.
Preply is an online language learning platform that connects students with tutors in over 50 languages. Their affiliate program pays 70% of the first payment from every new trial you refer. That means if someone signs up for a trial session at $30, you earn $21 from one referral.
The conversion angle here is broader than it looks. Language learning is not niche. People learning for travel, for work, for immigration, for school, for fun. If your content touches any of those topics at all, Preply is a natural mention that pays extremely well for the first conversion.
Best for: Anyone in education, travel, career development, or lifestyle content.
4. ClickFunnels | Commission: 40% recurring | Cookie: TBD | Network: Direct | Get your ClickFunnels affiliate link here
This one is not on AffiliateFinderPro yet, but it is approved and it belongs in this stack.
Forty percent of a platform whose base plan starts at $97 per month.
ClickFunnels is the funnel builder that built an entire industry around it. A single referral on the base plan earns you close to $39 every month. On their higher tier plans that number climbs fast. This program rewards patience. The people who click your link need to be ready to build, but when they are, this commission does not stop.
The key with ClickFunnels is education. The more you explain what a funnel actually does and why someone would need one, the higher your conversion rate. This one rewards content that teaches.
Best for: Entrepreneurs, marketers, coaches, and anyone selling online courses or digital products.
5. Teachable | Commission: 30% recurring | Cookie: 90 days | Network: PartnerStack | Get your Teachable affiliate link here
This one is not on AffiliateFinderPro yet, but it is approved and it belongs in this stack.
Teachable is one of the most recognized course creation platforms available. Their plans run from $39 to $299 per month. Refer someone on the Pro plan and you are earning roughly $60 every single month from that one referral. The 90-day cookie gives you a long window to convert. Someone clicks your link today and signs up three months from now, you still get paid.
You do not need to be a course creator yourself to promote this. You just need to know someone who is thinking about building one. That is almost everyone right now.
Best for: Anyone who knows coaches, consultants, educators, or anyone turning their expertise into income.
This Week's Pick
Plaud Note AI Voice Recorder | $159 | 4.5 stars (3,778 reviews) | Amazon's Choice | Grab it on Amazon here
If you are building any kind of income stream on the side, your best ideas are not happening at your desk.
The Plaud Note records, transcribes, and summarizes conversations using AI across 112 languages. Meetings, calls, voice memos, brainstorm sessions. It connects to an app, works with or without your phone, and stores up to 64GB of audio. The app rating is 4.9 out of 5. Over 1,000 people bought this in the last month alone.
I picked this because the people reading this newsletter are building something. And the people building something are always one conversation away from a good idea they will forget by morning. This captures it.
At $159 it is not an impulse buy. But for anyone who is serious about what they are building, it is one of the easier decisions on the list.
The Commission Pulse
Affiliate marketing is no longer a creator-only game and the programs are catching up.
For years, affiliate marketing was framed as something creators did between sponsorship deals. Post a link, earn a small cut, move on. That framing is changing fast. The programs in this issue alone represent potential earnings that have nothing to do with follower counts. Airwallex pays $200 per qualified business signup. Kinsta pays recurring commissions for the life of a customer. Preply pays 70% on first trials.
These are not influencer deals. These are referral programs built for anyone with a network, a newsletter, a community, or a reason to have a conversation. The person who refers one business owner to Airwallex earns more from that single action than most creators earn from a sponsored post with 10,000 views.
The shift happening right now is that everyday people are starting to understand that affiliate income is not about fame. It is about trust and relevance. If you can put the right program in front of the right person at the right moment, the commission follows.
That is exactly what this newsletter is here to help you do.
Building in Public Update
Issue 4 and the business is moving.
AffiliateFinderPro.com now has 40 approved programs in the directory, a fully functional AI search tool, and something new coming that I am genuinely excited about. Alongside the affiliate programs, I am adding a section for everyday products with affiliate programs attached. Things people already buy, already use, and already recommend for free. The only difference is now there is a commission attached. Why not get paid for it?
The Product Hunt launch is scheduled for May 6. If you want to support it, show up that day and leave an upvote. The link will be in your inbox.
The site is free. No paywall, no limits. Use it as much as you want.
The best part of this story is still ahead.
Until next time,
Julie James
